BEFORE “GAME ON”

Please Note: The EARLIEST players are allowed on any of our Event Sites is 4pm. (If there is ever a change to this, we will be sure to inform the community as soon as we know.)

  • Once you arrive to site, we recommend you first unload your gear into your bunk area, or start by setting up your tent.

    • If this is your First Event, or you’re First Time on a specific site, please feel free to check in with the Post Office (In-Game Logistics Office) if you have any questions/concerns about your sleeping arrangements.

  • After you’re gear is set, make your way to the Post Office to Register and/or Pick up your Character Sheet.

    • If this is your First Event, please remember you will also need to Read and Sign our Waiver.

  • Bunk Got, Character Sheet in hand, time to head to Weapon and Armor Safety Check! (Just outside the Post Office Area for your convenience)

  • Once you and your gear is all checked in, you’ve got the rest of the time to mingle and hangout with the other attendees - Just make sure all your non-genre items are put away safely in your bunk by 8pm.

  • At Roughly 8:30pm we will begin our Opening Announcements for all attendees. Opening Announcements is for us to be able to make sure all attendees are aware of any possible Safety Concerns, Special Mechanics, and anything else you may need to know before the Event Begins.

  • Immediately Following Opening Announcements, we will ask New Players to step aside with our New Player Guide Team, for New Player Orientation. This is a time where our team can help make sure New Players have a proper understanding of the base Game Rules, Safety Rules, and give your Characters an introduction into the Event, (Called the New Player Module, or Mod for Short). During this time our team can also answer and game related questions, or direct you to the right Staff Member to help.

Game on!

  • The Event has begun, so go have fun!

  • Don’t forget about your Casting Shift, which every attendee participates in!

    • For your Casting Shift, you will report to NPC OPS(Also Referred to as “NPCLand”) and check-in there.

Saturday

  • From 12pm - 2pm on Saturday, we shutdown our NPCLand Operations, to allow a “breather” time for Attendees to catch up on what their Human needs. We are still in “Game On”, Play is still Live at this time, but you will see minimal to no NPC interactions during this two (2) hour period.

  • We Encourage Attendees to take this time to make sure they eat a meal, drink more water, maybe take a nap if needed, and just generally take care of any other needs their bodies needs for comfort and maintenance at this time. Its tough work staying alive in the Zombie Infested Wastelands, and as much fun as we’re all having, we can’t forget to take care of our Human Meat Suits too!

Sunday

  • Game Off is at 12pm Sunday, all Attendees should be present in the Tavern Space for Closing Announcements.

  • Closing Announcements will go over Important Story Notes from the Weekend, Site Cleanup Information, and will Announce our Option Post Game “Afters” Meet Up.

    • “Afters” is where attendees are invited to all come out and eat and hangout at a set location/restaurant, to catch up, share stories and reminisce about the event together!

Grab any items you left in the tavern. If you’ve borrowed a weapon prop, return it to NPC Ops and retrieve your ID from the Post Office. Then head back to your cabin for cleanup.

  • After Closing Announcements conclude, Attendees will be dismissed to Collect their Belongings, Clean their Sleeping Spaces, and report back to Staff for Camp Cleaning Assignments.

    • Please make sure to clean your belongings from public areas FIRST. This allows others who finish packing their bunk/sleep space belongings in their vehicles first, aren’t stuck waiting to clean an area because another attendees personal items or setting decorations are in the way. We want to get everyone packed and set off site as soon as we can (while doing a proper cleaning job), so everyone can get to Afters and Home!

  • Once your Sleeping Area is all packed and cleaned, Guide will sign off on your character sheet that it is done, and send you to Staff for you Camp Clean Up. Everyone working together to clean up after game makes everything faster!

  • After you complete your camp cleanup, return to the Post office to drop off your Character Sheet, and you’re good to go!

And that’s that! We we’re all happy to have you, and we look forward to seeing you back for your Next Adventure with Dystopia Rising: PNW!
