While we follow the Core rulebook and other official dystopia rising content, there are a few changes or add-ons we’ve added to better suit our chapter and local community. These Policies are ones that our Chapter has put into play for our events. These only apply to the Dystopia Rising: PNW Chapter - Remember when visiting other chapters, they will have their own set of Rules and Policies.

  • Requires: PFA Graverobber to Preform Dread Surgery, as well as minimum 1 Assistant with Basic Medical (or Higher)
    Expiration: 3 Months
    Procedure to Augment: The Graverobber preforming the Dread Surgery must spend 1 Resolve and both the Graverobber and the Assistant must engage in 30 minutes of full engagement Surgery RP on a willing subject. If the target is not willing, the materials are Lost and the Dread Surgery fails.
    After the RP, The subject gains The Downsurge: “"Cannot regain Body", and chooses to lose a resolve or take 20 body damage, this damage cannot be reduced.
    Up to two Infectious Material can be used in the procedure to reduce the Downsurge time by 20 minutes each, to a minimum of 20 Minutes.
    Replaces any Pre-Existing Dread Surgeries on Subject.

    Basic Mechanics: The subject may use Basic Stealth without concealment and in daylight, but must remain motionless. Any movement breaks this stealth. If used at night or in concealment, the cost of Basic Stealth is reduced by 2 mind, to a minimum of 3 mind.

    Basic Mechanics: Once per 12's the subject may spend 10Mind to call 'RAIDER RAGE!' ( Heal 10 Body and Ignore all mangled Limbs for 3 minutes ), May be activated in Bleedout by spending 1 Resolve instead of mind. The Subject must attack the nearest hostile creature During this time. At the end of the 3 minutes, the subject's body becomes 0 and they drop into bleedout, and are under the effects of choking blow and stun for 1 Minute.
    Successfully Installing this Dread Surgery inflicts stage 2 Bad Brain, removing the Subject's bad brain destroys this item.

    Basic Mechanics: For 5 Mind, Subject may make a brawling strike and call "Piercing Claws: 20 body, No Defend!". If this strike is successful (not avoided), the arm that made the strike becomes mangled. This Mangle cannot be prevented.

    This Surgery can only be installed on someone with less than 20 max Body.

    Basic Mechanics: The Subject's maximum Body is increased by 10. Once per 12's, The subject may take 5 body damage to add 'Overpower' after any Melee or Brawling Strike is Defended or Avoided. The Subject requires an additional minute of full engagement RP for any Medical skill or item used on them. They must call “Dense, additional minute required" in response to medical skills.

    Basic Mechanics: The mind cost of Basic Awareness is reduced by 2 to a minimum of 3 and Proficient Awareness by 2 to a minimum of 8. The subject must wear some sort of eye coverings during the day or when in bright light, or they cannot use any Awareness Abilities.

    Basic Mechanics: Once per Event, the user may call 'Rapid Evolution: Upsurge 10 body!' Then reduce a disease they have by 1 stage. If they reduce Radiation Sickness this way, they instead call 'Upsurge 20 Body'. Tainted who attempt to Reduce their Bad Brain instead take 10 Body Damage and the Disease is soothed for 1 minute.

    Basic Mechanics: The Subject may Call "Enhanced Carry" to run with one carried body, or walk while carrying two.
    Automatically wins contested carry checks against unaugmented subjects.

    Basic Mechanics:
    The subject gains 10 points of armor that they do not need coverage for, this armor stacks with other sources of armor unless otherwise stated. Any effect that fixes a Mangled Limb can be used to repair this armor, and it cannot be repaired in any other way.
    Effects that soothe or ignore Mangles do not repair this armor.

    Basic Mechanics: By Spending 1 Resolve, the Subject may call "Bullet Time" and take up to 5 steps Out of Character. For the next minute they may use Avoid against Ranged attacks for 3 Mind. At the end of that minute, the subject is then under Agony for 30 Seconds.
